I've found that if we look for the good, listen to understand others, develop ourself's daily, there is hope! As a professional speaker and training specialist, it's my duty to serve my clients, exceed expectations and inspire change. The only way I can best serve my clients is to serve myself first, grow daily, connect with others that I can add value too and they to me and keep getting better at the things I do best. If I'm not seeking ways to grow daily then I cannot offer my clients the best and that's what they are paying for. As professional speakers and trainers we only get paid by adding value to our clients and the markets that we serve.

As I mentor other speakers and trainers I first teach this principle, alway's make your contribution greater than your reward. It's not about us the speaker, it's about the client and their customer or their team, it's not about the money, it's about making a difference, offering results, action plans and inspiring action. Oh yes, and having fun along the way. No one wants to hire a boring speaker, reading their script, or the PowerPoint, no you want professionals that know their business and can delivery.
