Leadership Questions that Can Lift Your Potential:
Love to share great information and give credit due to where I heard it anyway. The next time I may state “I Heard” and then “I was thinking” the evaluation of a quote; You quote the person, then I heard and before long, I was thinking! These questions came from listening and seeing Andy Stanley in action on “Simply Lead” at Chick-Fil-A Leadercast on May 10 this year.
Okay here you go, enjoy, reflect, think and grow!
The 3 Leadership Questions that Can your Lift Your Potential: ( I created the title!)
- What are we doing? This is a great question to ask your team, family team and any other group you’re in a leadership role. Sounds simple right? Well it is and on the other side of the coin, it’s deep if you take your team on the journey.
- Why are we doing it? Here you go, you can respond with some fast direct answers; profits, sales, more, success, family tradition…I recommend digging deeper, to the real “why”
- Where do I fit in? See true leadership has nothing to do with position, that’s more management. It’s not a position or title I’m speaking of, as in, where do I fit, (Branch Manager, regional, CEO) no, it’s about your personal & professional growth and potential. The value you bring to the table.
This Posting is for anyone that wants to grow, whether you’re in a leadership role or not, yet. If you’re in leadership, then you can think you’re the smartest person in the room, or you can read, reflect and think on these questions and really get some input and build on them and your vision. As a Leadership Trainer and coach I see that these 3 questions are critical to the success of the group or organizations you represent. They seem really simple so don’t just say; been there, done that, go back and build!
